Kim Montpelier was selected to the USYF U16 National Team for futsal in Kansas City, KS. She was invited to play 3 international futsal matches in Colombia in July.
Kim is the 15th National player from the Futsal America program but the first one for futsal. We are proud of you and all your work, Kim. No player deserves the recognition more as one who never misses a practice a game or chance to work on her game without complaint and still achieves excellent grades.

Our U18 Girls won the 3v3 Live Tournament again in Alexandria, VA with a 4-0 record. Our 2002 and 2007 Girls also participated in both the Manassas and Alexandria 3v3 events and demonstrated great skills.

Both U16 and U11 Girls made their annual pilgrimage to the 5v5 Beach Soccer Tournament. Futsal America plays Beach Soccer and Soccer Tennis all summer long on the National Mall in Washington DC to hone their technical skills and ball control. Kim Montpelier was invited to the US U16 National Team ID Camp in Kansas in June. If selected she will play for the USA in Portugal. Kim is the 15th player in the Futsal America program to be identified for the National Pool but the first one for futsal. She was identified at State ID camp in Virginia.

Anna Pelletiere was selected to represent her school in the first partnership between DC Schools and FC Barcelona. She will embark on a Spring 2018 visit to the Nou Camp, train at La Masia Academy, meet the players, watch a FC Barcelona match and play against their girls team.

Futsal America is the only program in DC that hosts outdoor travel soccer with year round futsal skills training.
